Family, friends, fellow human rights and HIV activists, colleagues from the NGO communities of Guyana and the wider Caribbean gathered on Saturday 31, October to pay tribute and bid a final farewell.

CVC would like to take this opportunity to mourn the loss of activist and colleague Zenita Nicholson and remember her contributions to our community.

Education minister Ronald Thwaites is asserting that gays have rights like any other citizen, as he blasts critics of the new security manual to address bullying in schools.
